Fashion Trends for 2007
Summer is practically upon us. Whether you’re sipping Mai-Tai’s poolside or seeing how low you can go during a Hawaiian Luau, you want to look your stylish best.
How can you go from Plain Jane to fashionista? By following a few simple steps, those hunky lifeguards at the beach won’t be able to resist staring at you this summer!
This season is all about baring some skin, and there are ways you can do so without looking like something the cat dragged in. This year’s swimsuits are all about details, from strategically placed cutouts to cute metal charms. To look absolutely rockin’ this summer, try a black one piece with side cut outs or a daring V-neck. Black is not only slimming, but the details are also an important part of this swimsuit. If you prefer bikinis, there are plenty of options for you as well. Ruffles, tankinis, and contrasting colors are all very hot right now, and there are plenty of affordable styles to fit your figure and your wallet.
For looking good poolside and otherwise, there are a slew of new great fitting pants that will flatter your figure and catch the eye of any man who walks by. The latest styles include denim capris, which are best on those who’d like to add a few curves to their figure. Pair these stylish pants with the new wedge platform shoes and a slim fitting teeshirt and you’re good to go wherever the mood strikes you. The most misunderstood fashion item in history, shorts are also making a surprising comeback this season. Bermuda shorts are highly fashionable, and can work well on the weekends and at work when paired with a matching jacket. Flipflops, ballerina flats or wedge platforms work well with shorts; avoid dainty shoes at all costs.
If you’re itching to get your hands on the latest bargains in summer fashion, follow the above tips to look oh-so-cool when the temperature reaches the hundreds. Don’t be surprised if you become the fashion icon of the season!
