America’s Got Talent: Finally the Finale! Terry Fator and Kermit Give the Best Television Moment of the Summer
Who is going to be the next best new act in America? Will it be Cas? Butterscotch? Terry? Julienne? Oh, the nail biting begins as the countdown is on for the final results and our highly anticipated David Hasselhoff performance.
“Stomp Out Loud”, “The Hoff”, and a surprise guest star or stars will be on the show!!! Oooh, who is it going to be? Maybe Bianca Ryan from last year? Poor Piers. He has got to be in pain. I saw on “Entertainment Tonight” that he had broken 3 ribs. I doubt he’ll be moving at all tonight and will simply be giving polite golf claps.
I know I have championed Cas Haley to win and I so want him to win but if Terry Fator wins it all I think I’m going to cry for joy and I won’t be sad at all. He is really something else.
First up is the “America’s Got Talent” Top Ten with the “America’s Got Talent” dancers? What? I’m laughing out loud! There are “America’s Got Talent” dancers. Oh shoot, I’m still laughing and a tear is rolling down my cheek. This is going to be good. They are doing “Celebrate Good Times”. Oh goody, it’s “The Glamazons” and everyone else. I’m just glad I got to see the plus sized hotties once again!
Butterscotch gets to perform after the break with a surprise super star!! Who is it going to be? Maybe it will be Vanilla Ice or Ton Loc. Can you tell I’m a child of the 80’s? They are doing so well at keeping it a secret. It’s Sean Kingston everyone and Butterscotch doing “Beautiful Girls” together! I’ve seen him plastered all over the internet but have never heard the song! I love it! It’s got a 1950’s Jamaican reggae feel with of course Butterscotch beat boxing. I didn’t think Butterscotch added very much to it. She didn’t sing (except for some back up) and they were obviously performing to a track. Well, it will be interesting to see who the rest of them duet with. Butterscotch gets a sweet message from her grandma via video. I love that Butterscotch’s family is number one with her.
Terry Fator is next with his super star mystery guest! Oh could it get anymore perfect? Terry is singing with KERMIT THE FROG!!! I love it!!! That is awesome! This is the best. They are singing James Taylor and Terry’s puppet sounds just like him!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Kermit brought the chickens as back-up singers!!! I love it. I’m gonna watch this over and over and over. Terry is pure, delightful, clean, wonderful entertainment. That was absolutely phenomenal. They have “Animal”, “Beaker”, and “Chef” as the judges right now. I am soooooooooo entertained. Terry’s special message is from “Miss Piggy”. Absolutely engaging. That is like the best TV moment ALL SUMMER LONG!!! I have a feeling Terry Fator is going to win it.
Julienne Irwin gets to sing with…I know, how about Taylor Swift!!! Carrie Underwood?? She is suspended again in a swing just like she traveled down on a moon last week. Ha! I was right!! Taylor Swift!! I love this song “Teardrops On My Guitar”! I love Taylor Swift!! I need her album!! She is darling; her music is so real for her age. Taylor looks like a spunky glammed out teenager and Julienne looks like the very good country girl going to her first prom. Wow, Taylor Swift is TALL or Julienne is short! They were pretty sweet together. Uh oh, Taylor isn’t with it. She was like VOTE FOR HER, VOTE FOR HER, vote for Julienne. Well, it has already been decided…no more voting. But that’s okay, Taylor is a superstar and is probably on tour and not watching “America’s Got Talent”!
Finally it’s Cas! Who is he playing with tonight? It has to be a reggae band. So cool!! “UB40”!!! They are singing “Red, Red Wine” together!!! I love it!! It takes me back to my aunt’s wedding. Every time I hear this song I think of her! They’ve made 28 albums? Very, very impressive. Oh transport me back to when I was 12 and made my parents crank it up on the radio in our white Nissan Sentra. It must feel pretty good for Cas Haley to hear from “UB40″ that he’s got a really, really good voice. Lionel Richie has been following him during the show and gave him his special message via video that he is a great singer. WOW!! Cas has got the stars behind him.
Okay, here we go for the Top 3. I think Julienne will go home first but what if Butterscotch does? But before that announcement we get “Quick Change”, an act from last year’s show. I loved them last year!! Okay, did the girl mean to slip and fall? I guess we will never know. What we do know is that Piers didn’t like them last year. Too bad for Piers because we all love them. How the heck do they do that so fast? How do they do all those costume changes?? After “Quick Change” it is now time for the first act to get dismissed. Yes, it is Julienne Irwin who is leaving the competition. She was so gracious, humble, sweet, and totally grateful to be on the show.
Now this is where it gets so hard. Cas, Butterscotch, and Terry are all so good in totally different ways!!
“Stomp Out Loud” performs next. They are taking Vegas by storm according to Jerry. They should be good and they are! Performing with boxes, garbage cans, garbage can lids, acrobatics, drumming, stomping, and lots and lots of rhythm they rock the house. I especially love the guys on the big barrels attached to their feet with in-line skates. Very cool, very innovative. HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Now who goes? Who will the Top 2 be? It should be Cas and Terry!! Oh good, Cas is in the Final 2. Oh hooray, it’s Terry and Cas in the Top 2. America, you got it right!!! You so got it right!!! Either one could win it all. I do feel sad for Butterscotch; she is very disappointed that she didn’t win. But, I’m overjoyed that Cas and Terry are the top contenders because they rightfully should be.
Where is “The Hoff”?? We haven’t seen “The Hoff” yet. But wait, what is even better is the “America’s Got Talent Audition All-Stars” singing “We are the Champions”. Oh my gosh. I cannot believe they put this freak show on the stage and that they included that female ventriloquist. She wasn’t one of the worst auditions and these were all the bad audition people. She has got to be crazy to be grouped with all of them! Now this is entertainment. Why did these people agree to do this? They are so bad that they are good. The pogo stick guy in the back bouncing back and forth the whole time is priceless…I am crying. Oh no, I just woke up my husband because I was laughing so loud and he has to go to work early. Seriously, I am wiping my eyes. I haven’t cried this hard since I watched “Blades of Glory”. I still cannot believe they put that act together and everyone agreed to do it. Of course “The Hoff” is going to be amazing after that train wreck!! I’m sure he will be next to perform.
Finally it’s “The Hoff”. Hopefully Piers doesn’t “X” him as he sings “This is the Moment” with all of his “America’s Got Talent” string section supporting him in the background. Cheesy, cheesy, cheesy and we’re eating it up! David would not have made it on the show. Sorry David. Lucky for you that you will always be “The Hoff” and that you sold a bazillion albums in Europe! The whole performance was just a little bit over the top but Sharon loved it and Piers admitted that he loves “The Hoff”.
Okay, now for the winner. Who is it going to be? They are both so different and so amazing. After watching Terry with Kermit tonight I have to say I was thoroughly entertained. Terry brought something new and fantastic every week. Cas has been my favorite from the beginning with that unique voice of his. He is incredible and somebody is going to sign him if he doesn’t win. But Terry is so GREAT. He made me want to buy all of “The Muppet Show” DVD’s after tonight. You also know Terry wants it really, really bad. You can see it on his face. They both deserve it!
After another commercial break Jerry makes it official, America has decided that the dark horse Terry Fator WINS IT ALL!!! I couldn’t be happier for him. Terry brought ventriloquism back into a lot people’s hearts in America including mine! Cas has a great future and has nothing to worry about. I will buy his album!! When I’m in Vegas I will buy a ticket and see Terry’s show!! Oh wow, Jerry just told him that he is playing the Jubilee Theater at Bally’s resort! Dreams do come true for Terry! Your plug a few weeks ago to have a show in Vegas worked Terry!! Man, what a night for this talented man. He leaves us with his million dollar performance impersonating Roy Orbison. He ended the night well with a thank you to America. No, thank you Terry Fator!
